- 1 medium onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 3 cups tinned garden peas
- 500ml Chicken stock
- Salt and pepper taste
- Fresh cream or crème fraiche (optional)
- In a large saucepan saute (fry) onion and garlic in oil until tender
- stir in the peas, chicken stock and reheat.
- Place in a blender and blend until smooth, season to with salt and pepper.
If desired stir through 1 tablespoon of fresh cream or crème fraiche.
