Received this from Middlesbrough Council if anybody is thinking of organising an event.
This year the UK will celebrate Her Majesty The Queens 70th anniversary with celebration events over a four day bank holiday weekend. Middlesbrough Council want to help make this a weekend to remember for residents in the town and are making grants available towards community celebration events taking place over this time (Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June 2021). Anyone can apply as long as they are over 18 but these events must be open to residents or communities.

Hi everyone,
I am planning on restarting the Eco Shop meetings online next month. I appreciate that you all are really busy and may not be able to attend them all but I plan to run them on a different day/time every month so people will get the chance to join a meeting when they are free. It will be opportunity to share updates, information and good practice and if anybody would like to discuss anything in particular I can add it to the agenda bu these meetings will be very relaxed and informal and will just give us a chance to have a chat. Look out for an email invite soon.

Our grants of £150 are back – helping you and the community take part in Plant and Share Month.
Last year, we supported over a hundred community organisers and groups across the UK with everything from buying seeds and compost to getting hold of the tools they need.
We’ll be sharing more details shortly. In the meantime, take a look at our support page to see whether your project is eligible and read about a group based in Northern Ireland who used their Small Grant to hold an at home, hands-on herb activity.
